Shivnarine Jackie Robinson Chanderpaul is the first batsman in history to score 4000 test runs in NOT OUTS. The closest to Shiv is Steve Waugh who scored 3318 runs in not outs.




LIST OF MOST RUNS SCORED IN NOT OUTS

Well his record is proof that Chanderpaul values his wicket and so he may go very slow at times. Chanderpaul has always been a patient batsman and the people criticizing him about batting too slowly needs to just shut up.

* Shiv plays for a bottom ranked test team---the WI is currently ranked #8 in the world.

* Had Shiv played for a Top 5 team, he would have been surrounded by more competent and productive batsmen and instead of only scoring 11,684 runs at a 53.10 average after 158 tests he would have scored 13,000 test runs by now at a 55 average.
