Shiv is a late bloomer. Check out his batting average in his first 10 years in tests and his average in his last 10 years.

5 batsmen in test history have scored double hundreds after age 40. The last was Graham Gooch back in 1994.

* English opener John Hobbs was 46 when he scored 142 versus Australia in 1929.
