Shiv's stats vs Australia are deceptive. Like Tendulkar, Shiv cashed in on Australia after Warne and McGrath retired. Shiv's average is a low 34 vs Australia until 2007. When both retired, and Australia stopped becoming world beaters, then his average went up (right up to 80, with all games at home). He and Sars were the only ppl making runs for WI in this period though, so you cant complain.
