With their ace spinner's career in jeopardy, the Pakistan Cricket Authorities have now sought the help of former Pakistan spinner, Saqlain Mushtaq to help Saeed Ajmal rectify his action and return to International Cricket.
Saqlain who is now settled in Britain, has been helping spinners all around the world. He was also a part of West Indies camp during the T20 World Cup happened earlier in the year and was also a part-time spin consultant for Bangladesh.
The 37 year old Saqlain Mushtaq has confirmed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had established contact with him after Saeed Ajmal was suspended from International Cricket because of ‘Illegal Bowling Action’.
"The PCB has contacted me to help out Saeed and I am willing to do that. He is a gutsy character and can adjust his action accordingly," Saqlain told the Geo Super channel.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Wth..?? i thought it was an indefinite ban. :-\
So does he have a chance to appeal again withing a set interval..?
I mean,he has "chucked" for over 5 yrs now and he gets a chance to appeal..?? Those excuses are all childish and the one more befuddling is the ICC believing it.

he better hope Saq is available ...
ICC is complicit in waiting so long
same with Shillingford : He was called regionally BUT let off by International umps !@

I don't know man. How do you even do this after years of pelting it? Either you get a botched and ineffective doosra or you take time to fix the action - and Ajmal is already hella old.
Let's see.

It's not an excuse. He is getting his chance because no one told him all these years that he is chucking. It's ICC's duty to ensure that no one is chucking. Not Ajamal's fault.
