Spinner Steve O'Keefe could finally be given a chance at Test cricket after being named in Australia's squad to play Pakistan in the UAE in October. O'Keefe was named as part of a 15-man Test squad that also includes allrounder Mitchell Marsh, who is yet to make his Test debut, while Phillip Hughes was included as the backup batsman and Glenn Maxwell as a spin-bowling allrounder.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Maxi and Mitch in the test side? Okay Mitch I do get but why Maxi?
O'Keefe is actually pretty decent addition. Could fill in as a bowling allrounder I guess.

Where are Cummings and that other young quickie....his name eludes me.
His brother played one test for us.
Cameron Gannon?

Hmm..nmot too sure about this selection. Australia have a real dearth of quality bowlers ( spinners) right now and rather than just picking them to make up the numbers they should pick their best five bowlers. Irrespective of them being fast or slow. That will get the job done.

Has this bowler debuted yet? Behrendroff is noticeably missing if we're talking about yet-to-be-debuted bowlers. Hastings has had a decent season last time around too.
Cummins, IDK if it's the injury or his lack of performance, he's not in the radar for the time.

A slow left arm orthodox bowler and he can be an asset as lower-order batsman too.He has a much better first class record than Doherty or even Agar.Quite unfortunate he hasn't been able to find a place for so long.He should give a tough fight to Maxwell for that slot.Lyon though will undoubtedly head the attack.

Oh you meant Patto of course. I totally forgot his brother played for poms. Besides I thought you'd remember his name
He has back stress or something. It's defo injury related. Same with Jackson Bird BTW in case you're wondering.
