Guys India is a poor Test playing nation, particularly away from home but even now home defeats are creeping in, and a very good OD outfit and that has been the case for some time now.
England on the other hand is the opposite.
I am yet to see the highlights of yesterday's game but it was an absolute mauling by all accounts and well done to the Indians. I have to admit the Tests are more important to me but we are not even competing.
I am in no real panic and if we either make many or no changes, I am not sure we will be making any significant impact in this world cup.
We have traditionally focussed on tests, especially Ashes series, and we have the wrong mindset for ODIs.
The only player who seemed to have the right mindset, in this team, is Moeen Ali. He uses his feet, has match situation astuteness, can rotate the strike, he hits big shots effortlessly, he looks to score every ball without giving it away and the list goes on it goes on.
Alex was worked out by by the Indian bowlers bowling into him.
My only other observation is India was most likely to win this ODI series without Ravi Shastri who is taking the plaudits away from Fletcher.

IRONY..!!! IRONY..All over.
@Mail : Exactly, how else can we blame their dismal performance. They seem to concentrate on ODI's only if the WC is nearing. This is a flawed approach.
Oh and England aren't a great test playing nation..They have "India" as their bitch.Remember SL series..and many others in their home ground.?
England just had their time then.India were probably haunted by their old memories.
