Seems like Australia’s defeat to Zimbabwe yesterday cost them their No.1 ODI ranking, which they were sharing with India. They have come down to No.3, and now share the same rating as Sri Lanka. But wiith a few more matches remaining for both Australia and India, any one of them can retain the No.1 position, if one wins and the other lose.

Here is a link to the ICC ODI ranking, for those of you who are into that sort of analysis

Indians have always dominate this form of cricket. I just hope that they sort out there issues with Test Cricket.

India will remain on top for sometime if they win the series 3-1 or 4-0(quite unlikely).SA too have a bloody brilliant chance to snatch the top spot. They are currently second with 113 pts.If they win the tri series, they can sniff a chance at making the top spot.

Given England's performances in the first two games of the series, they would do very well to split the final two games. I wouldn't be surprised to see India complete a whitewash and hold on to the top spot.

Not into *any* sort of analysis, but interesting. SA could top that list too, couldn't they? SA have been positively excellent this series and I'm guessing they might make it to the top if India are to drop.

You really have a bright future as a soothsayer.India are on the verge of whitewashing the hosts and England aren't showing any hint of a fightback.Their submission was meek to say the least.
India completely pummeled them and even in the dead rubber this week,i don't expect them to even salvage some pride.Below Par performance so far..!!

The way this match ended today, it seemed like England had already given up well before they started bowling. Nobody counterattacked except for Ali.

England's biggest problem is that they have too many Test players playing in the ODI team. Swann and Pietersen were right on the money. You can't afford to put out a lineup that includes the likes of Cook, Bell, Ballance and Root. England get too bogged down early on and then when the spinners come on they just crumble.

I am not too convinced by these rankings. They keep changing almost every other day!! One bad match or a series and the teams switch places. It may just be that teams are very evenly matched and have been playing inconsistently across the board however I still feel there should be a better points sytem in place that reflects the realities of world cricket.
