ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The Selection Panel of the West Indies Cricket Board announced today a 13-member West Indies squad for the first Dhaka Bank Test against Bangladesh, starting next Friday at the Arnos Vale Multiplex in St. Vincent.

Jermaine Blackwood
Kraigg Brathwaite
Darren Bravo
Shivnarine Chanderpaul
Kirk Edwards
Shannon Gabriel
Christopher Gayle
Jason Holder
Kemar Roach
Shane Shillingford
Jerome Taylor
Two players who were considered for selection to the Test squad have opted to play in the Champions League which has an ICC approved window on the international schedule. The players’ decisions will not have any deleterious effect on consideration for future West Indies selection.

I wish this thing with the Indian cricket T20 league can be properly sorted out because it is denying us seeing all the best players on display. Giving a player the option is a no brainer they will go where the money is. I think the WI squad named is possibly the best they can do wiuth what's out there

The issue though is CREDIBILITY !

Even IF say Russel stays on the 13 man squad :

he could easily be benched to fetch water and towels  :-[


Sunil is probably still pissed off with Pybus excluding him from the Kiwi series !
