West Indies offspinner Sunil Narine maintained his number two position in the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings following a strong showing in the three-match series against Bangladesh.

Narine managed four wickets at 18.25 apiece with an economy rate of 2.70. He earned 50 ratings points for his effort, moving to 764, though he still trails top-ranked Pakistani Saeed Ajmal (785).

Among the other regional bowlers, pacer Ravi Rampaul (seven wickets, Average: 14.00) moved up 12 spots to 17th, Kemar Roach (four wickets, Average: 28.75) jumped two places to 16th, Dwayne Bravo (five wickets; Average: 12.80) remained in 47th and Jason Holder (three wickets, Average 34.33) moved from 55th to 51st.

Man-of-the-Series Denesh Ramdin leaped 37 spots to a career-best 75th in the Batting Rankings, having posted scores of 74, 34 and 169.

Further up the list, Darren Bravo (184 runs, Average: 61.33) hopped 11 places to 34th to overtake Lendl Simmons (37th) as the team’s highest rated batsman.

Kieron Pollard (125 runs, Average: 41.66) also made a big gain, skipping 16 spots to 48th. Losing ground were Chris Gayle, who dropped one spot to 49th, and Dwayne Bravo, falling from 50th to 57th.
