Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan's six-month ban imposed last month for "misbehaviour" has been lifted, the Bangladesh Cricket Board said on Tuesday. "After Sept. 15, Shakib will be available for selection," BCB president Nazmul Hassan told reporters after a board meeting.
Bangladesh's most prominent cricketer was banned for what the BCB called a "severe attitude problem". He later apologised and made a passionate public plea to the board to reduce the punishment. Shakib, who has played 34 tests and 136 one-day-internationals, was accused of travelling to the West Indies to play in the Caribbean Premier League Twenty20 tournament without clearance from his board and was subsequently ordered to return to Bangladesh.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

What a bunch of COMPLETE morons. He's missed out the ODIs, now he's gonna miss out the tests. Well done on getting pummelled.
Yes, Shakib was being bit of a dick, but jeez! I've seen worse from players from other teams, and they never gave a remotely similar penalty despite them having better options. This was just insane punishment for your best player.
Totally saw this coming.

Shakib was at fault, but a 6 month ban wasn't "justice served right".He is an asset to any team and Bangladesh board was stupid enough to keep him out. They could have fined him or warned him.
Besides, they really don't have an option.he is the perfect fit for the lower order slot.

Bangladesh has one great all rounder in their hands. They won't want to spoilt it. So it's not a surprising decision at all.

Shakib is one of their best players, and a six month ban though it seems unfair, was probably required in this situation. The ban was enforced by the BCB, and later reduced to 3 months. His behavior seemed to rub off on other players, and hence the decision was taken. Now I guess he will be a bit more careful and we can look forward to some great batting and bowling from him.

And his NOC ban is still in place. So he can't play any other domestic leagues until 2015. Which is WAY to harsh in itself, but that would've sufficed IMO. Even the shortened ban here is terribly unjust and disproportionate.

Can you brief me more on this..?
Why can't he play domestic leagues..?..If his ban has been lifted, then it accounts for removal of all limitations right..??
Basically just one small query..In what can he play, and in what--NOT..??
