With Ravi Shastri being appointed as the director of the Indian cricket team, the days of current chief coach Duncan Fletcher seems to be numbered as there is a question mark about his presence during the upcoming home series against the West Indies.
"Duncan has no powers left whatsoever. Ravi will be calling the shots and Duncan knows it only too well. At this point of time, with no choice of support staff, Duncan will have to take a back seat. If Duncan wants to leave before the next home series against West Indies, the Board will not stop him," a senior BCCI office-bearer said on condition of anonymity.
When the official was asked if Fletcher has indicated about quitting, he said, "The BCCI has send him enough feelers that he is not required!"
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

A bit too harsh there, don't you think mate? I wonder why BcCI didn't have an Indian on the dressing room before? Now that they are in trouble, they took some much needed bold steps.

anyhow the BCCI is doing to him far worse that any harshness in my comments. they are humiliating Fletcher.
they wont even fi'ah him but take away all his power, his very job, the frame of it and left the shell hanging on him. he can fi'ah himself or stay. either way it is ignominious.
you find what I SAY harsh..but not what the Indians DO.
interesting! ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::
