Barnwell

Barnwell seems to be a better finisher than Pollard and the other big-name show ponies. He's striking at 230-250 almost every game.

Pollard is hardly a finisher anymore. Can't think the last time when he's finished a game well tbh. He can turn the game on its head sometimes, that doesn't mean he's a "good finisher" tbh.

Also more interestingly - as good a finisher Barwell might be - why isn't he bowling a single ball? He's primarily a bowler and even part timers seems to get preferred over him? IDK

The highest strike rates for the CPL this year make for some interesting reading. Barnwell's teammate Russell tops the list with a strike rate of 195.71. Tanvir has scored early and often for the Zouks with a 181.73 strike rate. While Barnwell (142.99) and Ramdin (142.16) have also fared well. Pollard's strike rate is 140.84.

Yes, Andre Russell has a current strike rate of 195.71. Forgive any confusion, obviously Russell plays for the Tallawahs.

Russell also has the highest overall strike rate (169.87) in the history of the the Caribbean t20 (with a minimum of 125 balls faced). Keiron Pollard is second at 162.45 and Nicolas Pooran third with a strike rate of 151.47. Barnwell is sixth with a strike rate of 129.46.

Ooh thanks. Just looked at his scores/stats - very impressive in the lower order. Knew he could do that of course, but didn't think he was this good this season as he's been off color for a while.
