The ball moved around for a while, and Pakistan lost their openers inside six overs.
Then came in Younis Khan and fought his way through to lunch
By stumps, Younis was batting on 133 ;
equalling Mohammad Yousuf for 24 Test centuries, the second-most by a Pakistani,
and had gone past the latter's : 7530 Test runs.

Sri Lanka have not made good use of referrals in their home series this year :
failing to overturn several not-out calls against South Africa last month,
before declining to review a plumb lbw shout off Younis Khan, when the batsman was on 21
Younis used DRS superbly, surviving the umpire's raised finger twice :
to go on to 133 not out by stumps.

Marvin Atapattu said that Sri Lanka may consider asking their board to have :
Hotspot and Snicko available for use in order to improve the quality of DRS decisions.

Great stuff Younis! Didn't he get downgraded from A level contract or something by PCB? Excellent response. Would've collapsed big time without him here. Classy.

There is no other batsman in the pak team to have an average above 40,except Younis & Misbah.Wonder what Pak will do when they retire.. The match is interestingly poised just like the last test and hopefully this time around it will bring a result to the better side.

118.3 Perera to Younis Khan, there's the wicket! Younis Khan marathon is over at 177,
he skipped down the crease but wasn't quite near the pitch, ends up chipping a tame shot
towards midwicket, it's been a rough Test for Perera so far but he has now got the big one
Younis Khan c Vithanage b Perera 177
