I would have preferred Plunkett to Jordan or Woakes to be honest but even if he was fit my best guess is that the selectors would have stuck with the same XI. If selected, both Woakes and Jordan will need to bowl better at Old Trafford. It is good to see Finn back in the squad again, especially after such a disastrous winter.

This is a good thing for Finn. One of the most talented players who seemed to have lost his way due to being over coached. Reports say that he is back to bowling fast and terrorizing batsmen at the county level. Nothing as spectacular as watching a young tear away take center stage!!
