Sanju Samson is "definitely the future" for India, according to his India A fielding and wicketkeeping coach Abhay Sharma. Samson, who turns 20 in November, was the leading run-getter for India A in their victorious campaign in the quadrangular one-day series in Darwin, Australia, with 244 runs from seven matches.
"He is definitely the future for the country," Abhay told ESPNcricinfo. "As a batsman, he is a very sensible player. He understands situations and adapts his game to them. His innings against Australia A in the opening match was outstanding. He took us close in a game we had almost lost."

I fear Samson my be weighed down by the weight of expectations. Yes he has a bright future ahead of him but based on current performances, is he really ahead of Kedar Jadhav and Naman Ojha in the running. IPL exposure and money can work both ways. Lets hope he gets his act together.

His Ranji Records too are good and U-19,no need for asking. He has been doing well in the quadrangular too and consistently shows maturity at the highest level, but for him to be inducted in to the team,he needs to undergo further tests.Something more rigorous and testing.
He is the best among the current lot though.Would love to see him replace MSD in the future.
