Israel is an unethically and illegally created state, forged on the back of ethnic cleansing, which has repeatedly behaved like a racist, genocidal, Colonialist psychopath. Moeen Ali did the right thing to use a public platform to make a small statement. And it's not surprising that he did: Pakistanis and immigrant muslims in First World Countries tend to be the most socially concious people of this current generation, for obvious reasons (they keep getting their asses bombed).

Hopefully a kind of critical mass will be reached where public perception against Israel begins to force it into changing. The problem is, the superpowers (US, UK, France, Australia) all support Israel (like they once supported apartheid in South Africa, and worse), and always veto or block UN actions against Israel.
