CAPTAINCY appears to agree with this chap !! 

Maybe the burden of captaincy has gotten to him like it did many great players. I don't think he should be captain if it continues to affect his batting performances. The job of captain should be given to maybe a bowler so that the batsmen can concentrate on batting.

amla has all the tools to be a great captain. only one game so far and he won it.

First win in Lanka for almost 14 years and should he win the series, it would be the first since their first tour 21, or so, years ago.

Lanka won the last 2 series on home soil in 2004 and 2006.

Or maybe a fielder so the bowler can concentrate on bowling...lol.

It is his first test in charge so do take it steadily.

Amla should have done the honorable thing and recluse himself from cricket during Ramadan .
Going without food can make one Lethargic    and incapable of performing at peak.
Reason that he failed with bat.

I also believed  that Amla should have never been  made captain
This position should have been given  to a black person , even one with less abilities .
Him being made captain is just window dressing to show that the white establishment who controls cricket in South    Africa has changed from the apartheid mode .
