The India supreme court has released former captain Sunil Gavaskar as interim president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, after he was appointed to the role in March and in charge of the IPL.

Yes, now he can do commentary jobs and can write columns of news papers and magazines.

Reports suggest that he wanted to relieve himself from the job.Moreover the stories suggesting that he had asked for "compensation" was all a rumor and hoax. He should have continued,as that would have served better for Indian Cricket.The board itself is corrupted with Srini followers,they need to be taken out.Just as we strike down the pillars before taking out a building.Once they are taken off,the mains will come off and Indian cricket can be cleaned of all that mess.Hats off to Gavaskar for his faultless ways to serve cricket.
