Duminy tonned up and they declared - so much for my prediction
I think SA can do more in this pitch/conditions with the ball, but that's me hoping. Most crucial day of the test this, and hoping to see a magic spell from Steyn or Vernon.
Tahir - I don't see much coming from him - but there's definitely some turn.

SL 35/0,still trail by 420 runs. There is no terror in the pitch so the lankans can negate any swing and bounce with ease.I see tahir playing a big part in this match. As the pitch cracks out he can be a lethal weapon.SA will be expecting the lankans to fold up soon.
Silva and Tharanga are cautiously playing, leaving many balls. They wanna see off the first 2 hrs maybe..

Vernon Philander has become the second South African in the last nine months to be charged and fined for ball-tampering after an incident during the ongoing Galle Test. Philander was fined 75% of his match fee for breaching clause 42.1 of the ICC's match playing conditions as footage viewed by the umpires after the close of play showed him "scratching the ball with his fingers and thumb". Philander did not contest the charge so no hearing was necessary.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
