I prefer Sheldon Cottrell because he is left handed and is one of the fastest bowlers in the West Indies at the moment. I don't know why the selectors chose Gabriel in the last test series because up to this day I don't know what they see in him. Gabriel is just a moderate bowler in my opinion and Cottrell's pace make him more suitable for the future should he be worked on to improve.

Gabriel cannot Bowl . so your topic question is Invalid !

In addition to NOT understanding how to hold an upright seam..

He is too big and bulky to have a rythmic run up and delivery a la Whispering Death !

I'm not sure ..... but I dislike the saluting thing  ::yawn::

I expected so much more of Shannon Gabriel after I first saw him ... but looks like Ottiss has turned him into a lumbering giant  :(
