I prefer Sheldon Cottrell because he is left handed and is one of the fastest bowlers in the West Indies at the moment. I don't know why the selectors chose Gabriel in the last test series because up to this day I don't know what they see in him. Gabriel is just a moderate bowler in my opinion and Cottrell's pace make him more suitable for the future should he be worked on to improve.

Which format are we talkin about? I'd actually wager Cottrell having a better test career tbh.

Gabriel cannot Bowl . so your topic question is Invalid !
In addition to NOT understanding how to hold an upright seam..
He is too big and bulky to have a rythmic run up and delivery a la Whispering Death !
Shannon Gabriel should consider new " Whites" : Sumo shorts :-[

I'm not sure ..... but I dislike the saluting thing ::yawn::
I expected so much more of Shannon Gabriel after I first saw him ... but looks like Ottiss has turned him into a lumbering giant
