Yorkshire keeping fingers crossed over Williamson
Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Kane Williamson has been reported for a suspected bowling action Kane Williamson has been reported for a suspected bowling action
YORKSHIRE are hopeful that Kane Williamson will not miss any cricket for the county after being ordered to get his bowling action tested in Loughborough next month.
The New Zealand batsman, a part-time off-spinner, was reported for a suspect bowling action at the end the second Test against the West Indies in Trinidad on Friday, and he will have until July 12 to be tested.
He is due back in England between July 7-9, and the only cricket Williamson could miss is in the NatWest T20 Blast.
Director of cricket Martyn Moxon said: "I don't know what it means in terms of when he is due to be tested. I presume it is just a day, but I'm not sure as yet.
"He's due back between 7-9 of July, and I would hope that it won't impact upon any matches."
Meanwhile, Yorkshire are set to be without Aaron Finch for the T20 quarter-finals in early August should they qualify out of the North Division because he has to go back to Australia for a training camp at the end of July.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
