Blackwood and Leon Johnson coming

Rumour is, Blackwood and Johnson coming in for Samuels and Powell.

Now Shilly needs a drop and Narine brought in for the second test. WICB needs to man up, forgive Narine publically and fast, and bring him in for Monday. Play Holder or a 3rd pacer too.

long past that in my estimation. he is useless. the 'experiment'  shud be long over.  Powells pik is pure politcal influence from up the Dots.  whoever is behind lil Powell appear to have region-wide influence

I have looked at Powell as often as I had the opportunity.  he looks very good, an attractive player at the crease..good height, fluid with the bat. fluid and facile physically.  outwardly there is nothing wrong with Powell.  it is his seeming mental outlook that is problematical

I tried to intersect his outlook and what I see is not a cricketer.  someone decided for him early that he would be a great batsman, but that is not his thing, his make up..not natural about him.  which is why he wont go through, wont pass into a phase of great batting , lots of tons etc., like our destined youth have done previously.

Powell is not a natural born cricketer and he is not a Richie Richardson...who desperately wanted to be a cricketer..a great batsman... he made himself into one.  there is nothing of the Richardson in Powell.  he is simply doing something he is not cut out to be..expressing the dream of someone who has power over him..and at the wicb.

{maybe they simply want a Dotty in the team and Powell is the only one they can draft in..and keep in 25 average or not}

deh shud just drop the bwoy and let him go find what he really wants to do with his life.  but it looks like the selectors cant even do that..have no power to drop him.  the power behind Powell may be screwing up everything including west indian chances

Ramdin has already hinted at changes for the second and he particularly isn't impressed with powell,so brathwaite could get a look in.Oh and instead of Edwards bravo will get to play.Samuels despite those 2 ducks will still get the run owing to his century in that practice match.In my stance he deserves another one.
