as a matter of fact I think all of west indian society..our west indian society.. is dying. we are totally failed in the world over the past 50 years of so-called independence, mired in debt, full of unemployment and under employment, backward with little to no infrastructure..and where we have some it is in mostly bad repair.
only Trinidad has money and it is being badly mis-managed in the interest of forriners.
all west indian central banks are owned by international bankers who use the regional currencies to bleed the region.
all west indian territories have very poor health facilities that impoverished nationals have to pay for. there is little to no socialized health care
and on top of that we have amazingly high rates of reproductive infertility..plus behaviours that contribute to ill health and early death like skin whitening. add to that the fact that most all food consumed in the region is imported from the USA and that that food is toxic, full of GMO and pesticide poisons.
there seem little chance of west indian survival unless there is rapid revolutionary change. that seems quite unlikely.
the west indies then is a dying society and there is little hope of resurgence in anything we we do, far less in our cricket fortunes. as such the way we are losing at cricket is surely a reflection of our dying status as a people.
the cricket we play appears to suggest that we have given up in the face of what may be insurmountable problems, thrown up our hands and accepted the inevitable...that we are toast, finished and done.
stick we with ah fork!
