Sagicor West Indies High Performance Centre (HPC) beat Bangladesh ‘A’ by 117 runs in the first 50-over match at Kensington Oval today.
Chasing 328 to win, Bangladesh ‘A’ were bowled out for 210 in 41.2 overs.
Shuvagata Hom topscored with 51 off the same number of balls. He hit five fours and one six.
Captain and pacer Carlos Brathwaite took three for 23 off 5.2 overs and off-spinner Ashley Nurse, three for 45 off ten overs.
The HPC amassed 327 for nine off 50 overs after winning the toss.
Fast bowling all-rounder Andre Russell slammed a hurricane, unbeaten 132 off only 56 balls including seven fours and 13 sixes. He raced to his century off 47 balls with six fours and nine sixes.
There were half-centuries for Leon Johnson (67) and Walton (61).
