NEW DELHI: The Feroz Shah Kotla pitch for the fourth and final Test between India and Australia has come under criticism from the former players, who have termed the track as a "three-day" wicket.
The pitch, which has cracks on it, saw some balls keeping low, while others flying off after hitting the deck. There was sideways movement from the cracks when pacer Ishant Sharma was bowling from the Old Club house end.

Forget all of the above ........ Groundsmen have or should've a basic knowledge of the turf in the regions they live in and know what they can or cannot do to adjust the conditions. It's not rocket science ::yawn::...... darn just do a google search ...
Even a simple gardener knows what to do to adjust soil conditions horticultural wise in different climates ......
