Dear fellow Guyanese,
There were four fast bowlers who helped keep the West Indies cricket team at the pinnacle of international cricket for well over a decade. Three of these four have been inducted into the world's first and only international cricket hall of fame.
The three who have been inducted are Michael Holding - Jamaica, Andy Roberts -Antigua, and Joel Garner - Barbados. We are missing Colin Croft - Guyana. We consider this a travesty and wish to correct this by having Croft inducted.
It takes virtually five thousand dollars ($5000.00) to bring someone from outside the U.S.A. for induction. We are therefore trying to raise this amount by donations. Croft, who is currently in Trinidad, falls in this category. We are therefore kindly soliciting a donation from you.
Please make your donation payable to "Cricket Hall of Fame", put Colin Croft on the memo line, and mail it to the above address. This year's induction takes place on October 4.
