Cricket Australia has come up with a novel plan to improve the team's performance:
on Indian soil: import some of their own.

The Indian-style pitches in Brisbane will not be installed in time to prepare Clarke's men
for their series against Pakistan, but Cricket Australia's general manager of
team performance Pat Howard hoped they would be ready by the end of the coming summer.

That's a sensible decision, however does this just have to do with the mud though? I mean surely there can be similar material in Oz that can be used to make turning/slow pitches? Perhaps I'm wrong, the turning pitches in Oz I've seen are sharp turners, not the kind in India/SL etc.
But yeah again, good plan regardless.

Cool but bring some Australian grass to India to settle the deal.Kids here don't know to play on bouncy tinges.Good move, but this won't help them at once, they need to persevere and toil hard on how to play in asian soil.
