There is nothing wrong with that at all. It was after a fair warning and the crowd is too ignorant to get the fact.
I remember once Courtney Walsh did not run the batsman out and he was way over the crease. That was in the highest spirit of the game. But since there was a warning from Senanayake, it was nothing wrong and there is no need f

Sri Lanka showed sportsmanship by asking Buttler to stay in his crease twice. If he's still gonna come out, he deserves to be mankaded.

The only controversy here was the English captain's comment!!
Bottom line is he wants his players to cheat and when they can't he cries like a baby! ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL::

All batsmen leave the crease as the bowler delivers. It's called backing up. They are taught to do so or ought to have been. What they don't do is remove their bat from the crease. Buttler was no further down the pitch, nor seeking to gain any more advantage than any other batsman. It means he was a dickhead, not a cheat.

and he run you out ...you are OUT.
no ifs, buts , maybes or spirit of the game ...
