Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is hoping his comeback to the game after five years out will last more than the current season, and is aiming to emulate some Australia veterans.
Flintoff will make his comeback, after weeks of rumours, at the age of 36 for the Lancashire Lightning. If his body holds out, the reason for his retirement down to injuries, he hopes to keep going next season.
He told the BBC: "I don't want it to be one year. You see Brad Hogg playing in the Big Bash, Brad Hodge is playing for Australia at 39, Glen Chapple's 40 and still charging in in four-dayers.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

He looked lean and raring to go after he came out of retirement.I watched that video of him getting a wicket..it zipped off the pitch, not as quick as we have all seen him bowl before..but yeah he is just coming out of his retirement..so it might as well take time.He has plenty to offer for lancashire..He was average in the game against penrith..
