Mushfiqur Rahim, the Bangladesh captain, has said he didn't expect such a weakened Indian side for the upcoming three-match ODI series. The visitors announced a 15-man squad without eight of their regulars - captain MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are among those not making this trip.
Mushfiqur said he was not upset at the quality of his opposition but felt that, by playing better cricket, his side can deliver a message to the powers that be. Despite the make-up of the squad, they will not be playing for "India A" but for India, he said.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

a. Tests vs ODIs. Different ball game altogether. It's been a long time since they even had a FC tournament IIRC
b. Overseas vs Home. Banglas are doing far better than they used to at home. They've won series at home.
c. Shakib, Mushfiq, Tamim - all three are absent from the XI. Especially Shakib is important to their test side.
So yeah, not sure about that comparison. There's one more test to go right? Let's see how badly they perform there.

Either way needless to say I do think India is going to be damn tough - their batting resources are so good. Even without MSD, Kohli, Jadeja, Ashwin etc. it's still tough competition for Banglas.

Even without those primary X1 India are tough to beat. They have an excellent back-up resource and guys like gambhir, having got a call up after a long time will be keen to prove a point. Uthappa has straightaway said,he is going to look to cement his place.place. Banglas..pls,first try beating this team, then you can talk of seriousness.
