Sydney, May 24 (ANI): Australian captain Michael Clarke has called on Cricket Australia (CA) to take the example of the United States while scanning the world for ways to enhance the Australian cricket. Although Clarke believes that the Australian game is in a great shape after their impressive winter of winning back the Ashes, coupled with the domestic success of the Big Bash League, he however suggested that it is necessary for continuous evolution in the game to keep it fresh and modified. According to News.com.au, Clarke said that a recent trip to the US gave him a first-hand experience of US baseball, adding that CA can learn from the way these sports look after their fans by building the game around the full entertainment package like ticket prices, food options, music, access to players, merchandising, giveaways, technology etc. Stating that Australia has to learn to market cricket as well as Americans do to their baseball, Clarke also said that they have to continue to provide a sport that appeals to all aspects of the market and not only just the people interested in the game.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
