West Indies captain Denesh Ramdin has taken over the reigns of the Guyana Amazon Warriors for the upcoming Caribbean Premier League T20 tournament. According to information coming out of the Warriors set-up, Ramdin will replace the Guyanese Ramnaresh Sarwan, who took them to the runner-up spot in the inaugural campaign last year

According to the source: “Ramdin has been touted as a future leader in West Indies cricket for quite a while. The decision to make him captain of the Guyana Amazon Warriors came before the decision by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) to make him their captain.
