THE TRINIDAD and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) yesterday announced the national Under-19 and Under-17 teams to participate in upcoming regional competitions.
The West Indies Cricket Board’s Under-19 tournament will be played in Guyana during the period July 20-August 10 while the Under-17 competition will be contested in Tobago from July 6-16.
The Under-19 squad will be reduced to 14 players prior to the tournament.
The Under-19s will be coached by Dasrath Maharaj and managed by John Lewis. The Under-17 squad is coached by Tarandath Sammy with Stephen Martel as the manager.
Under-19 squad: Jeremy Solozano (captain), Amir Jhangoo (vice-captain), Camilio Carimbocas, Brian Christmas, Keron Kanhai, Justin Joseph, Jesse Bootan, Shane Smith, Anderson Phillip, Jameel Maniram, Brandon Jaggernauth, Akil Seetal, Jordan Samkarran, Tevi Jadoo, Samuel Roopnarine and Darion Ramdhanie.
Under-17 squad: Bryan Boodram (captain), Keagan Simmons (vice- captain), Emilo Gopaul, Jarlarni Seales, Amit Kistow, Keron Persad, Kristan Kallicharan, Sachin Seecharan, Nathaniel Mc David, Djourn Charles, Jordan Warner, Brandon Maharaj, Daniel Williams and David I Williams.
