West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) director Baldath Mahabir says that new West Indies (WI) Test captain Denesh Ramdin has inherited a “crown of thorns.” Mahabir said leading the WI is not an easy one and although he is in top office as far as regional cricket is concerned, it will not be easy for him. “I think that Denesh has inherited a ‘crown of thorns.’ He has inherited a crown that is not easy to wear and we think that he is capable and hence why he has been given the opportunity.”

the sharpest pikker in that crown of thorns is the coach.

the selectors are also big sharp pikkers in the bunch.

get rid if the coach and reconstitute the selectors...new selectors...maybe Lloyd as chairman..give him something useful to do. 

ideally Lloyd shud be doing Pie Bus wuk with more power put into into dat designation

otherwise the west indies team is not so bad.  Mahabir like to talk

with Ramdin and Lloyd in charge, unfettered by any dam HC and soup drinking selectors...this very same west indies side could reach #4 by the end of next year depending on who who we play

this very west indies side, balanced, confident, organised, happy with its leadership and in love with in itself will play a whole lot better than it has under skunt sammy/gibbo terrorisizing crap leadership

we need sharper analysis Mahabir.  come on.  the crown is thorny where the thorns can be removed allowing for immediate and susutainable improvement
