STARC STARTED IT. HE WAS INITIATORY. HIS WAS THE DRANG AND STERM IN THE MATCH, ROILING EMOTION LOOKING FOR EXPRESSION. IT FOUND EXPRESSION IN AN ATTACK ON POLLARD.
if allyuh did not know it before that is violence..incessant, natural white violence that once used to find and still finds full expression in mass murder of people of colour..Indians too.. and aggression on the cricket field allyuh always try explain away as competitiveness.
deh used to say they feared a black man with a ball in he hand when it came to west indian pace. but we were supposed to accept that their violence and aggression on the cricket field, did not refer to the fact that they are always engaged in the mass murder of black people somewhere in the world all the time...that that is not reflected in their cricket behaviour... and that Starc's contemptible and unwarranted initiatory behaviour here is somehow unrelated to general, long standing white violence
and Shastri's behaviour, the way he talks reflects his inate racism. his racist eyesight for he saw only Pollards behaviour standing along, not in relation to Starcs behaviour, not reactive but initiatory itself..even as those here try to break up the sequence, the flow of that event to points at which Pollard could be blamed rather than seeing it whole where it is all Starc..and that the fines should have been in Starc like /Pollard 75%/30%
racism is reflected in how people speak when confronted with issues involving black and white. the inequality is in the language, in how they see the incident and what they do if they are judging the issue. we have to look no further in this issue to slam Shastris as racist for the way he handled it. it is tantamount to Starc walking free and Pollard in jail..WHEN HE DID NOT START A DAMM THING

the act of a batsman moving away from the ball is indication enough for the bowler to stop..especially if he is a fast bowler like Starc.
anything could happen in the meantime..a speck of dust could have gotten into the batsman's eye, he could have lost focus for a million reasons. it is safe and civil for the bowler to stop. that is what bowlers do all the time.
it is truly uncivilized to speak of the batsman must be 'ready at all times'... and suddenly incapacitated or not is ball in he rass.
what if Starc had knocked Pollard down...what would have been the reaction today?
I suspect all of you would be making excuses to let him walk away scot free although a MAN, a HUMAN BEING, EQUAL TO ANY OTHER HUMAN BEING lay dead at his feet. and that man dead whether he was ready or not to face the ball of a very fast bowler.
where is the real civility..where is the real violence...NOT IN KIERON POLLARD BUT IN EVERYONE ELSE INVOLVED INCLUDING THE NEGATIVE COMMENTATORS HERE!
there is a long tradition in the game of such civility..that when a batsman withdraws the bowler stops, does not go through and deliver...ESPECIALLY THE FAST BOWLER WHOSE PACE MAKES A BALL POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS, LIFE THREATENING
STARC BROKE THAT TRADITION, CLEARLY, WILLFULLY, DELIBERATELY, OPENLY, CONTEMPTUOUSLY. STARC SHOULD NOT ONLY HAVE BEEN FINED HIS MATCH FEE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN KICKED STRAIGHT OUT OF THE IPL... RATHER THAN ALL THIS CODDLING CRAP BY SHASTRI OF ABSOLUTELY CONTEMPTIBLE BEHAVIOUR
I have lost all respect for Ravi Shastri. Shastri fell from a dam tree, bounced his head an lost all historical perspective and the nature or racism in the world. so now all he regurgitates is the white side of things in judgement of people of colour

M Starc's behaviour was the essence of subjective, racist violence. Starc demonstrated that he is a particularly violent man. Starc is like that Saffie pace bowler..Parnell was it..whom Lara creamed all around South Africa but who could stand it he was so angry on the field he was literally popping out of his skull.
I wondered about that..why did they not try to calm him down. He was a short step away from doing something to Lara, right then and there. he was openly aggressive, angry, unsportsmanlike. he could not stand the fact very likely, that he could do nothing to a black man who was beating his bowling like a child, and had to take his curtase when he bowled, whether he like it or not.
no one did anything about Parnell..not captain Smith, not any of the umpires, not the match refere. he walked away scot free from a reprehensible display of behaviour
now were it a white batsman would Starc have stopped to protect him from harm had he withdrawn ::confused::
he certainly would. why did he not stopped for Pollard?
THAT THERE IS THE ESSENCE OF UNWARRANTED VIOLENCE, DELIBERATE INTENT TO HARM A BATSMAN.. OR DON'T CARE WHETHER HE GOT HARMED OR NOT!
that is behaviour for banishment, for banning from the game. Starc is a sycopath!
thats it! no dam if ands or buts about it!

Kieron Pollard is a Man! he has a family, established in the community, respected,...on his way to a good life, living among his people.
the Pollard has earned the means of respect. he has his own home and I am sure he is helping in his nation and place of domicile as best he can to make the general life better.
Kieron Pollard is one of us, doing very well in the world. I don't want to see him hurt by the stupidity of an idiot like M Starc..clearly a rabid man who should actually be locked away..or recommended for serious and deep psychiatric assessment

A Fast Bowler RISK serious injury IF a Batsman :
expects him to PULL UP in his delivery stride.
Sledging from Starc ?
"sticks and stones may break my bones but WORDS will never hurt "
Pollard should NOT have pelted his BAT.

Instead Sarwan responded :
"Ask yuh Wife ....I saw them together last night "
That Folks , caused McGrath to nearly Collapse.
Better than throwing a Bat at him

bullshit!!! you see everything in black and white. Just look at your response!
Correct, now go back and look at what YOU wrote!!
Mail described the incident correctly!
Starc bowled bouncer and Polly looked foolish in his response to that bouncer. Starc needed him a little with some words.
Starc in full stride about to deliver and Polly pulled away.
so why? are you telling me that he was not ready? he suddendly lost sight of the bowler/ball? If he didn't have a history of doing that to bowlers, esp fast bowlers then I would consider your feeble attempt of some bogus explanation.
the fact is that he pulled out to piss off the bowler.
Do you think he could have done that to Croft or Holding or Roberts and survived??
Deal with it, Pollard got what he deserved.

but more importantly he did not pull away from McGrath when he was bowling but peppered him to the boundary!! Partnering with Shiv to chase down the largest total in a 4th test inning.
