Any thoughts on the bowling attack for the NZ series?

Any thoughts on the bowling attack for the NZ series? NZ have no top spinners and play 4 seamers so logic would suggest WI prepare turning pitches and play 2 spinners. Narine and then Shillingford/Miller/Benn. With Roach injured who will lead the attack? Perhaps the scene is set for a newball attack of Taylor and Cotrell.

Roach, Holder, Narine, Shillingford and some other extreme pacer.

I am still not sure if Taylor is ready for a test return. He performed reasonably well in the 4 dayer, but we all know that that is still a far cry from test cricket.

Roach off the Injury list ...car crash and all....

Taylor himself said he is taking it step by step and he is in no hurry to get back, because he doesnt want to rush back only to get injured again.

It is pleasing if Roach is now fit but he has not had competitive cricket for some time now so I would not be rushing him back.


There are 2 warm up matches in Jamaica and I would get both roach and Taylor to play. From what I have seen off Taylor, he is up miles off his best.


If Roach prove match fit, I would have him and Rampaul, Narine and Shillingford.
