Shane Jurgensen has been released with immediate effect from his contract as Bangladesh coach by the BCB. Jurgensen had resigned in late April but it was believed he would stay in the job till the end of the proposed ODI series against India in June, giving the BCB a chance to find a replacement. The board, however, announced on Monday that he will be leaving immediately.
In his letter to the BCB, Jurgensen had said he was irked by comments in the media from some board directors who had talked about looking for a batting-oriented coach. Later, BCB chief Nazmul Hassan had said: "If anyone wants to leave then there is no reason to keep him as he won't be able to give his 100%."
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
