Mail, I hope you are right.  I do know he has the desire to make it into the test team.  He has to demonstrate lots more consistency to be able to do that. 

That particular t20 batting was good and entertaining.  However, He is weak against real pace.  Did you notice that in he was struggling against Kumar and Steyn? 

I personally don't think he has the goods for anything outside t20.

I do not know about you but I do not see Pollard as a test batsman but I was making an analogy of where players contribute but did not see the team home, when I mentioned Antigua.

Pollard took the Indians from near annihilation to the brinks of victory, although his personal effort did not take them over the line.

It amazes me on a West Indian forum , more are not celebrating what he has achieved. I thought the insularity was the domain of the WICB but perhaps they are more in line with this forum's insularity.
