I think this is terrible behavior by Farbrace. There is no way he should leave after being there for such a short time and since he is also violating his contract. No matter how tempting the England offer he must have given his word to the Sri Lankan authorities. There is no way he should have gone back on it so quickly.

There were rumors Farbrace had encountered issues with delays in pay :

during his 15-week tenure with Sri Lanka, and the past three months had also been

characterized by upheaval around the team, thanks largely to a contracts dispute :

between the board and the players.!!
