Pakistan capitalised on an Australian batting collapse to register their first win at the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 by 16 runs on Sunday.
Umar Akmal (94) starred as Pakistan set Australia - playing their first match of the tournament - a target of 192, and early indications were that they would comfortably reach it in Mirpur.
Aaron Finch (65) and Glenn Maxwell (74) led the way for the Aussies, who were 117-2 at the end of the opening 10 overs.
However, Darren Lehmann's men could only muster 58-8 over the second half of their innings, as Pakistan bounced back from their seven-wicket defeat against India on Friday.
Pakistan saw Ahmed Shehzad (five) and Mohammad Hafeez (13) dismissed early on, before Umar Akmal took the game by the scruff of the neck.
The 23-year-old fell just six runs short of his first century in the shortest form of the game as he and brother Kamran Akmal forged a partnership that also garnered 96 runs.
Sohaib Maqsood (five), Shahid Afridi (20 not out) and Shoaib Malik (six not out), helped push Pakistan to a score of 191-5.
Australia lost two wickets in the opening over of their innings, but recovered well as Finch and Maxwell combined for a stand of 118.
However, the duo's performance failed to inspire the rest of team, as the remaining seven batsmen managed just 20 runs between them.
Having been hit for 30 in the eighth over, Pakistan bravely handed bowling duties to Bilawal Bhatti for the final over with Australia needing 23 for victory.
But the all-rounder redeemed himself by restricting Australia to just six runs and claiming the wickets of Brad Haddin (eight) and Brad Hogg (three) in the process as Lehmann's side were skittled for 175 all out.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Wow, what a collapse. There was good chance for a win there, after 10 overs. However still the fault of the bowlers, they shouldn't have conceded like 190ish scores under any circumstance. But still, wow the batting is fragile as hell.
