Imran Tahir is as important to the attack as Dale Steyn, Twenty20 captain Faf du Plessis said ahead of South Africa's clash against Australia in Durban on Wednesday.

"Imi is very important to me. He's as big a strike bowler as a Dale Steyn is to our team and the success of Imran Tahir in the World Cup is going to hugely determine how well we do," Du Plessis said on Tuesday.

In my opinion, Faf has done a world of good to Imran Tahir's confidence by making these statement. He has been experiencing not the best form in the recent matches. And he knows that he will be quite pivotal for the South African team in the upcoming T20 world cup as it is being held in the Indian Subcontinent where spin always plays a big role in deciding games.

Well JP Duminy took 2 wickets in 1 over including Warner.

Tahir was NOT even in the Squad,

Yeah bollocks. He's not even gonna get a game. And if he does, RIP SA. Tahir in T20s, I'm already giggling down here.

Just stick with Duminy and your pacers FFS. And hope that batsmen can put a good total on board to defend.

I'd trust Abbott, Steyn, to lead the pace attack - and Parnell to back them up as the third seamer. Just let Duminy bowl spin, he's the best spinner they have at the moment, and I'm not even joking.
