WHITE as it pertains to race is an important descriptive for it  can convey all we want when we use the term..more even the controversy intended or unintended..actual controversy and its potential for controversy.

no need to shy from the controversy.  the argument will denature it of it taboo, danger, and reduce to harmlessness

you may think I am afraid of the controversy.  I am not.  were I afraid I would not use the term. 

I am afraid you are going to have to suffer whatever difficulty you suffer when I use the term for I will uses it when I think its necessary in relevant manner to the issue at hand.  what you think unless it is compelling, true, advances the situation..does not really matter.

Pie Bus whiteness is important, relative.  by attaching his whiteness much is explained, clarified that would take a whole lot to pin point otherwise.  and even so at the end we will still have to use white which would have saved a lot of unnecessary verbiage all along the way.

whatever race/racism is a lot in the eye of the beholder.

not every time words like white, black, chinese, indo etc are used in relation to race is expression of racism.  they can be loaded words and we all take our chances when we use them..or being suspected of and accused of racism.

its a frigging straight jacket which I do not care to wear.  it is time we denature those words..render them regular words by free use and practical understanding of their nature and use against all of us.  we have to stop being racist and part of that is denaturing racist terms by frequent use in the process of understanding their load

Brother, I agree in the principle with the statement. Personally I do not see the relevance of continually referring to colour, unless you are making a specific point as I did , some time ago, when commenting on parenting of Black men.

You will never wear a jacket other than that of your deeds and intentions. That applies to all of us.

Methink this new Cricket bully has caused us to lose our faculties !
