The problem has been the same for years. It ought to be apparent by now that I am referring to Indiasperennially threadbare pace attack. Turning surfaces at home wherespinners thrive and pacers weep, does not facilitate the developmentof high quality fast bowlers. That fact matters little when the teamplays at home; it is when they travel abroad that it becomesproblematic.
