Even though, most of his best performances have been against sub-par oppositions, I still regard him as one of the best batsman in world cricket. He has been a consistent performer over his career and has contributor to the success of his team. He has scored 30+ hundreds in test cricket which in itself, is no mean feat. The Sri Lankan team has constantly been able to depend upon Sangakkarra to deliver.
