    Kapil Dev state that the new players of the Indian team must take a leaf out of Sashin Tendulkar's book. He make this statement during their 25th anniversary Celebration.
    Sashin was honored as one of the Greatest Indian Living Legends. He was recently retired after playing his 200th Test against West Indies at home. He was India's stand out performer on their previous tour to South Africa in 2010-2011.
    Sashin was a batsman who could bat for a long time. He put bowlers and the opposition under pressure by batting for a very long time. He could bat with the top order and the middle order and still maintain his integrity.
