The West Indies bowling has been insipid. The pacers lack the basic ability of bowling even reasonably straight. But the batsmen are to be blamed too. Many lack patience and are ill-equipped to play anything but a ball coming to them gun-barrel straight. We seem to be going backwards.

The Captain should consider the robustness of his decision to continually win the toss and insert the opposition instead of blaming.

It is interestingly strange that the West Indian bowlers, with their coaching staff, are unable to learn how to swing the ball and get movement from a better seam position.

The decision to insert the opposition suggest there is no fate in the batting lineup in which case the goal is to fight to draw each game.
