Batting Aesthetics

So the Sach vs Lara thread prompted me to start this discussion. I already mentioned there how I find Lara to be aesthetically superior personally, and I've heard many echo the same thoughts. But then I recalled something Paul Collingwood mentioned during Eng vs Ind series, how left handed batsmen seem more aesthetically pleasing to their right handed counterparts, and I think he's spot on. They actually showed a footage mirroring Colly's (who's otherwise Ugly as feck aesthetically) innings, and it looked subjectively much more aesthetically pleasing to me too. I think he has a point.

If Lara  as a lefthander is aesthetically pleasing to look at , would you then say that another lefthander namely Shiv is more of an anesthetic  i.e.. putting one to sleep ?. 

Sachin was more correct and more aesthetically pleasing to me.


Lara was an absolute destroyer, in my view lads.

Generally though Sobers  for me is far more pleasing to look at in all facets be it battin. bowlin or fieldin/.
Right now it is Sangakarra, in my opinion anyway

Seriously though, my point is not that left handers are *ALL* aesthetically pleasing. But according to this hypothesis, Shiv would look worse than he is now if he were right handed. Do you have any mirror Shiv videos.

I suppose it is all subjective, but I certainly disagree. I mean not who's more technically correct part, that I haven't pondered over much, but Lara, to my eyes, is more aesthetically pleasing. I would say Sachin is more of a destroyer (or used to be) than Lara, whatever that's suppsoed to mean.

Most of my Leftie batting teammates actually BOWL right handed !
