go buy organic food..and the food they have not engineered yet.
how come you don't know that?
and support all the initiatives to force the GMO companies to be open and with their products so they can be properly regulated or eliminate the damm GMO's

the fact is weeds and so called pests cant be eliminated...period. the more that is throw at them the more they mutate and the worst the problems get.
and in the meantime we create all kinds of problems on the ground itself...problems that never end. humanity have no idea all that has happened from all the crap we have done so far. we cant know. the effects are too vast.
that is the problem with everything..how to know the complete effects of what has been done so we can protect against them... how to do things so we do not precipitate effect that would come back to harm us?
which is why it is better to eat what we have adjusted to for thousands of years and not introduce new organisms the human body has never had to deal with.
no matter what they say there s no way to know what those new organism will ultimately do to he human body...EVEN IF THEY WERE TRULY ENGINEERED WITH NO DELETERIOUS EFFECT IN MIND..ENGINEERED AS WEAPONS AGAINST HUMANITY.
so if there is no need to do those things then don't do them.
and there was and is no need to do them for agriculture was perfectly fine without them.
what they have done is started a war with nature..that is endless but before long will end in the elimination of humanity.
the freaking weeds and pests will mutate and already we have super weeds that destroy tractor wheels causing a huge an unanticipated expense in farming

it is an offence to sell mis-labled food punishable by fine, jail..both.
there are farm gate sales an farmers markets everywhere.
keeping one's ear to the vine and eyes open one can know what's going on and protect oneself.
like I go to the niagara region several times during the summer season to get fruit and veggies. I used to live in the region for 20 years. I still live there but not as deep into it as I used to. a lot has changed
you could pass by a farmers yard and he would have tons of produce out there prices attached and no one in sight. you would take what you wanted, pay for it and be on your way. there would be bigger shops that would sell everything straight from the farmer.
much of it could not be called organic but it was not engineered. and when I speak of buying organic I also buy regular food produced in the old way with pesticides etc., but not organic. GMO's are the really grave danger.
what has happened in Niagara now is an explosion of roadside sellers from eastern Europe ... Serbs and gypsies and so on whose stock cannot be trusted. to buy form those guys is trouble. what they sell as farmers produce is very suspect. one must look for the real farmers now..or go to the farmers market..get to know the farmers by going to the same markets often so you know what you are getting
but in Ontario outside every big town, and in the town there are farms and farmers, all kinds of small markets where the farmers go to sell their produce. go there and you are allright.
I see mushrooming now in south-western Ontario in the countryside, are tons of Green, organic, artsy fartsy botique meat and veggie shops.
these can be very well-appointed, pleasing to the eye, and very expensive. I checked out a ton of them and found a sense of fakery about them all...lots of people investing for profit first and foremost in which the delivery of good quality seems secondary.
the farmers markets are much better
