SEVERAL recounts of the ballot last night delayed the declaration of the new PNCR leader. The results were delayed after claims that the number of votes was higher than that of the registered delegates. The claims were reportedly made by Carl Greenidge supporters.
Meanwhile Basil Williams dethroned Cammie Ramsaroop to take the position of party chairman.
That result was calmly accepted, but the contention was with the position of party leader, which was closely contested by David Granger and Carl Greenidge.
Granger is head of A Partnership for National Unity and is Opposition Leader, while Greenidge was Finance Minister under the PNC regime.
This is not the first time accusations of fraud were made regarding the party's internal elections.

I heard stories of Cammie Ramsaroop's female family members being propositioned by PNCites.

Cammie is another Namakharam...so was Vincent Teekah...these Indos who believe that the Afros will promote them in an Afro dominated party are sadly mistaken. The Afros encourage them to go there and make their Indian women available accessories. When they are finished with them they summarily kick them out, or in Vincent's case, kill them.
Sad bunch.

Basil Williams defeated incumbent Chairman Cammie Ramsaroop by 73; he copped 228 while Ramsaroop copped 155.

Cammie must be feeling used, abused and abandoned. Good for him. Another Namakharam reaps his just reward. Soon it will be Ramjattan's turn.

Shhh...don't let the secret out. Them bais want power at all cost. That Cammie Ramsaroop is now put out to pasture. But they lived the fat-cat lives, and sold out the Indian interest.
