GPL admits that 40% of their generation is lost through theft
and other technical line losses, and therefore the rates that Georgetown consumers pay
obviously includes an amount to make up for this.....

When Reynolds took over the mining operations in Linden , it was contracted that lindeners would recieve subsidised electricity , however when the guyana electricity corporation took over the electricity generation and supply in Linden , it was specifically stated in the contract that there would be a phasing out of the subsidy.
The govt were forced to remove the subsidy when the combined opposition tied the govt hands with a 20 billion dollar cut from the budget

What has the government received from its sale of Linden bauxite operations ?
